Alberta's own..

I hope everyone is enjoying the early part of summer as much as we are!

Just a quick note to those of you planning to attend the Alberta's Own Independent Music festival this weekend...

Sacred Ally is scheduled to play on FRIDAY evening from approx 7:30 to 8:30pm. Some of you may have heard that we will be on Saturday eve but alas, this is simply not true (although we might try to sneak on Saturday AS WELL!!)

Also, apparently they WILL NOT let you in if you haven't pre-purchased a ticket, which is totally bunk... but, you can still call (403) 396-3231 to pick up a 1 day or a 2 day pass...camping included.

A lot of news to speak of...

What a great week it has been!
Our Iron Maiden tribute show was a complete success.
For a Wednesday night there was a ton of people rocking and hanging around till late into the night. Many thanks for those who came out.

The stetson is holding a Punk vs Metal thing all throughout stampede weekend and at the very end we get to see who really is superior...Punk or Metal....or emo..(cough cough not)

July 11th-12th @ The Alberta Independent Music Festival
(Benalto Rodeo and Fair Grounds 10 min West of Sylvan Lake, Alberta)
The deadline for buying tickets for this draws near.
It is a weekend long event full of live music, motocross, liquor, camping, and hopefully a lot of loose women. Please buy some tickets off us so we get a decent spot on the lineup. :))

August 30th @ The Siksika Reserve...Its the SIKSIKA METAL FEST!!!!
(Siksika comunity center just an 50min east of calgary on the trans canada highway, just seconds south of Gleichen) Two stages of Alberta's and BC's finest metal bands will be killing eardrums all day. There are too many bands to list, so i'll just post the event.

Other than that we have just finished pimping out our studio for recording our long awaited full length. We hope to begin very soon here and anticipate a cd release party in the winter/spring. Also check out this month's issue of the Beatroute. There is a little interview with the asian sensation, me! hahahaha
